These are both good anti SpyWare tools, well rated by CNet.com; and are available for free use by their manufacturers. These are limited editions, if you are happy with it, you may want to try the professional editions available for purchase on the company web sites. [LavaSoft] | [ PepiMK Software ] - BEST RECOMMENDED - This one is my favorite. AVG Anti Spy Ware 8.0.1 by Gri soft. I like this one very much because of the features it offers. You can download the FREE version here and see how you like it. The free version does not give real time protection and only offers mail scanning for 30 days only. House Call: It’s free service by Trend Micro company. All you have to do is go their web site, click on House Call and allow the web site to install a safe activeX control on your computer and it will link you Computer live to their Server and scan your computer for vulnerabilities. If it finds something, it will try to delete it for you. If it fails for some reason, you might want to purchase their software or call me
- I personally do not like Norton anti Virus software. It does a good job in cleaning your Computer. But I dis like it because it almost over takes my Computer. I like to be in command of my Computer, and not a stupid anti Virus software. It interferes a lot of the OS and the registry. anyways..
